What Happens When You Call
Usually we start with the thing that made you call: coffee that tastes of chlorine, glasses coming out spotted, or wanting better water to drink. After a few questions about your house, we go over the systems that suit it, including whole-home filtration, water softeners, under-sink reverse osmosis and UV water treatment. We also describe what each one is built from, like catalytic versus standard carbon, or the thin-film membrane and storage tank behind an RO faucet, and how those parts affect upkeep down the road.
If a system seems right, we move toward a quote and set up a visit to look at where it would be installed. Qualifying homes get standard professional installation included, and on the call we will tell you whether yours probably qualifies. We will not push the largest unit. Often a smaller system matched to your water and your space is the better choice.
Worth Gathering Before You Pick Up the Phone
- Jot down what bothers you at the tap, such as an odor, white scale or rust-colored stains.
- Note where the main water line comes into your home if you know it, often the garage or a utility closet.
- Count the people in your home and the bathrooms, since both shape how large a system should be.
- Check any filter or softener you already have and look for a label that shows its age.
